If you’re in need of it mop, the mopping pad can be changed for one that is wet in just a few seconds.

It’s among our most attractive looking robot vacuums. The latest model from iRobot is among the most intelligent model, with features that are cutting-edge like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company’s robot that is able to wash mop pads).

It’s the only robot vacuum/mop that scored 100% in our evaluations thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors, which include cameras, a structured lighting system, and multiple lasers. iRobot L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop, with a lot of advanced features that let you forget about your chores. Like Ecovacs’ range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock’s S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-off cleaning machine that takes care of both vacuuming and mopping, with a multifunction dock that automatically empty the vacuum’s trash bin, refills its water tank, washes and dry the mop pads.

The smart robot makes use of LIDAR and structured lighting to draw out floorplans and identify obstacles. It is more efficient in its navigation than its top competitors. It also comes with a front-mounted camera that can detect hazards in real-time, though this wasn’t completely foolproof in our tests, and was sometimes confused with obstructions or power cords.

5. iRobot Roomba RX3

The RX3 is more intelligent than its price would suggest. It vacuums well and picked up 55% debris in our tests. (It was second to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mops with a single pad and a reciprocating motion that cleans better that most of the mop cleaners with robots that we’ve examined. It’s also highly self-sufficient, with a fully-featured app, and a self emptying base that can be washed.

The well-designed iRobot app will guide you through a mapping session that collects data about your floorplan as well as any “no-go” areas you mark on the map. You can use it to create cleaning schedules, set up a spot clean or to prioritise your dirtiest rooms to ensure better performance. The app also provides access to many options, including seasonal suggestions, custom maps and advanced settings for your cleaning.
